Prokletije, the youngest, the fifth national park in Montenegro, represent one of the most beautiful mountain ranges. They belong to the Dinaric mountains. They are distinguished by jagged cliffs, inaccessible peaks, deep hollows, steep, vertical cliffs, many of the rivers. Abundant diversity of flora and fauna, with many endemic species. Attention is particularly attracted massive carnations, where at a distance of only 4 km concentrated more than ten peaks over 2000 meters.
Maja Rabes is the highest peak of Prokletije with a height of 2,694 m. It is located in Albania but this peak usually climbs from Montenegro, from the village Vusanje.
Jezerski peak represents the highest point of the Dinara mountains. In contrast to the wild and dangerous mountain carnations on the right side of the valley, Volušnica, Popadija and Border, are much gentler and more accessible.
